This fee applies when hair is not properly prepped according to the instructions provided before your haircut appointment. Prep is essential to ensure I can see your natural curl pattern clearly and work efficiently without causing unnecessary tension or breakage. If the hair arrives tangled, heavily matted, or not in a fully dry, detangled, and defined state, additional time, care, and product will be needed — and that’s where the detailing fee comes in. Fee Range: $75-$100, depending on time and condition of the hair. Following the prep instructions helps protect your curls and your time!
